SUDBURY — May 11, 2026 — Sudbury ZBA elevates associate Ian Henchy to full member after Chair John Riordan's resignation. Clerk Frank Riepe, acting as chair, told the virtual May 11 meeting the board needed to "start backfilling the roster" and pushed to promote Henchy, an attorney at Blatman, Bobrowski, Haverty & Silverstein who had only just been interviewed for an associate seat in April. The board voted 5-0 to advance him. Riepe said Riordan stepped down for personal reasons and that a permanent chair will be selected at a future meeting. Earlier the board granted a five-year renewal of the backyard-chicken special permit at 9 Willard Grant Road (5-0) and continued 11 Elsbeth Road LLC's teardown-and-replace application to June 1, with Riepe asking the applicant for a roof plan, landscape plan, materials list and topographic survey before then.
