Sherborn Library Closes Friday in Observance of Juneteenth
The Sherborn Public Library has posted notice that it will be closed this Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth, making it the most concrete new development on an otherwise quiet Monday in town.

The Sherborn Public Library is closed Friday, June 19, for the Juneteenth federal holiday. Patrons planning to return materials or pick up holds should plan accordingly; the library resumes its normal schedule the following Monday.
Summer reading is already underway at the library. The 2026 program, themed "Plant a Seed, Read," runs through August 31 and is open to all ages. Details are available on the library's website at sherbornlibrary.org.
