Select Board Elects New Leadership After Town Election, Survey Opens on Senior Center Hours

The Select Board reorganized its leadership at its June 15 meeting — electing a new Chair, Vice-Chair, and Clerk following the recent town election — while separately, the town is asking residents to help decide whether to shift hours at the Center for Active Living.

TOWN HALL

In the first meeting after the town election, the Select Board completed its post-election reorganization, choosing new leadership in all three officer roles. The town's News Flash confirmed the Chair, Vice-Chair, and Clerk positions were filled, though the official announcement did not name the members elected to each seat. Town Manager Colin Loiselle also delivered his regular report to the board at the same session. The full report is posted at the town's website.

In a separate action with direct impact on older residents, the Council on Aging and Town Administration launched a community survey on a potential change to hours at the Center for Active Living. The announcement did not specify what shift is under consideration, but residents are encouraged to weigh in before any decision is made. The survey is available through the town website at tyngsboroughma.gov.
