Permanent Building Committee recommends Bell and Kelly for new three-year terms
SUDBURY — May 7, 2026 — Sudbury Permanent Building Committee unanimously recommends Bell and Kelly for new three-year terms. Meeting virtually for 15 minutes on May 7, the committee voted 6-0 to ask the Select Board to reappoint Kathleen Bell and James Kelly to terms expiring May 31, 2029. Co-Chair Elaine Jones made the motion and Co-Chair Craig Blake seconded after Co-Chair Jennifer Pincus corrected the wording to clarify the committee was recommending action, not appointing. Bell, who also serves on the Affordable Housing Trust, told members "I'd like nothing better than to stay with you all." Blake described the body as "the easiest committee in town," noting no projects are currently in the pipeline and that project work has shifted to staff. The committee also approved its Feb. 18 minutes and left its next meeting date "to be determined."
