She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Blute, her son Lawrence Blute Jr., and her parents, Michael Bove and Josephine Bove (Caso). She is survived by her children Joanne Ferguson (Tim) of Somerville, John Blute of Amsterdam, Mary Case of Reading, and Stephen Blute of Billerica, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Somerville. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St, Somerville, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Elsa Mendoza Martinez, 75, of Somerville, died June 18, 2026. She is survived by her children Raynaldo Mendoza, Alba Mendoza, Mirriam Mendoza, and Jaime Mendoza, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering is scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2026, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at St. Benedict Parish, 25 Arlington St, Somerville.
