Natick School Committee hears Memorial building progress, code of conduct update
NATICK — March 23, 2026 — Natick School Committee hears Memorial building progress and previews May vice chair vote. Memorial School Building Committee Chair Mr. Myler told the committee he will bring a recommended vice chair for endorsement in May, drawn from within the existing committee, calling the role "a supportive, facilitative role." Procurement agent Matt Gillis said 34 to 35 RFQ packets went out for the owner's project manager search, about 17 firms walked the site on the 11th, and a subcommittee will narrow responses to three finalists for a public interview with scripted questions to preserve "parity and equity." Resident Brinley Vickers of Precinct 8 pressed for the project schedule page on the committee's website to link existing timeline materials. Dr. Ferguson then opened a progress update on the district's code of conduct rewrite, co-led with Kennedy Middle School VP Tim Cesarini, framing the work as a shift "from variability to consistency."
