Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball closes summer registration Friday as Hit-a-Thon tops $17,000.

LITTLETON -- Families with young baseball and softball players have until Friday, June 19, to sign up for the Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball (LYBS) summer season. Registration is open for Baseball (Rookies, Minors and Majors) and Softball (Rookies, Minors, Majors and Seniors). Players should register for the same division they played — or were default eligible for — in the spring. Current T-ball kindergarteners may move up to Rookie baseball or softball for the summer. Babe Ruth Baseball registration is closed; families seeking a spot may email president@littletonbaseball.org to be placed on a waitlist.

LYBS also wrapped up its annual Hit-a-Thon fundraiser, raising more than $17,000. Top individual fundraisers were Christopher Creed (baseball) and Piper Castellot (softball), each earning a $250 Dick's Sporting Goods gift card. The T-Ball Tincaps took top honors as the leading fundraising team and will receive a party at Teamworks. Additional raffle prizes — including movie tickets, a Dick's Sporting Goods gift card and WooSox tickets — will be awarded at the upcoming Jamboree.

In a separate milestone, LYBS announced the completed installation of lights at Jet Softball Field, the result of years of Hit-a-Thon proceeds and grant funding. The lights, already used during the fall season, will allow evening play for softball players from the Rookie level through high school.

Littleton Youth Soccer Club announced that Fall 2026 registration is open, with the club serving more than 600 athletes in the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League.

Nashoba Youth Hockey Association, which serves Littleton and surrounding towns, has opened registration for the 2026-2027 season.
