Lincoln-Sudbury School Committee votes 4-0 to enter executive session, ends open meeting
SUDBURY — June 15, 2026 — Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School Committee opens and closes in three minutes, moving directly to closed session. Chair Ravi Simon called the remote meeting to order at 6:48 p.m. Monday and, after confirming no public comment, read a motion to enter executive session without return to open meeting under Open Meeting Law purposes (2) and (3), covering nonunion personnel negotiations and collective bargaining or litigation strategy. The roll call carried 4-0, with Simon, Vice-Chair Catherine Bitter, John J. Ryan, Jr. and Maura Carty voting in favor; Jason D. McLure dropped from the Zoom briefly during the vote and Charles I. Morton, IV arrived just after. "The four of us voted to move to executive session, so I think we can just go ahead," Simon said before adjourning the open meeting at 6:51 p.m. Superintendent-Principal Andrew Stevens also attended.
