Lincoln Select Board sets town meeting warrant order, hears water and rodenticide plans
LINCOLN — February 9, 2026 — Lincoln Select Board sets warrant order and hears $8.8M water plan ahead of town meeting. The board, chaired by Jennifer Glass with members Kim Bodnar and Jim Hutchinson, on Feb. 9 received presentations from Save Lincoln Wildlife on a Home Rule Petition banning anticoagulant rodenticides, from town water and public works staff on a phased $8.83 million main replacement and a $630,000 Chapter 90-funded drainage repair on Bedford Road, and from the Town Meeting Study Committee on draft reforms. Town Administrator Tim Higgins said an $430,000 MBTA Communities Catalyst grant offsets the bonded cost. Committee Chair Kenny Mitchell proposed pro and con microphones, combined presentations, and possible time-certain votes; survey data showed "over 50 percent" of residents rely on Lincoln Talk versus 9 percent on the town website. The board unanimously approved the Feb. 3 financial warrants by roll-call vote.
