LINCOLN — Lincoln METCO will host a community-wide Juneteenth celebration Saturday, June 6, from 12:30 to 4 p.m., the highest-profile item on an otherwise quiet town calendar heading into the weekend. Town Hall posted no new News Flash items in the coverage window, and no fresh Lincoln coverage appeared from Patch, MetroWest Daily News or The Boston Globe.

SCHOOLS

Lincoln METCO, sponsored by the Boston Bridges Initiative, is putting on a Juneteenth celebration Saturday at the Lincoln School campus. Vendor tables open at 12:30 p.m., the formal program runs from 1 to 2 p.m., and outdoor festivities follow from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The district is promoting performances from the Boston Kroc Center, a STEP team, poetry, dance and a DJ, alongside bouncy houses, food and local community vendors.

At Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, Superintendent/Principal Andrew Stephens sent his latest "LS News & Happenings" community update on June 1, the final scheduled all-school message of the academic year as the district moves toward graduation and end-of-year programming.

On the K-8 side, the most recent district communication remains Superintendent's Bi-weekly Message from May 22, with no new posting in this cycle. The annual LPS Family Feedback Survey is still open for parents and caregivers.
