Holliston EDC Coffee Conversation Set for June 17 Amid Busy Meeting Week
The Economic Development Committee has scheduled a Coffee Conversation for June 17, giving residents and business owners a low-key chance to connect with the committee before a packed week of town meetings.

The Economic Development Committee hosts its next Coffee Conversation on Wednesday, June 17, a standing informal forum for anyone with a stake in Holliston's business climate. Details on time and location are on the town's website at https://www.townofholliston.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=69.
Residents who put their trash out every Friday can proceed as normal next week: the town confirmed there will be no delay in trash and recycling pickup on Friday, June 19.
Also surfacing on the town homepage this cycle: applications are open to fill a vacant School Committee seat, and Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for an affordable home in Holliston. Both items predate this coverage window but remain active.
SCHOOLS
The end-of-year calendar is filling up fast for Holliston Public Schools. Grade 2 and Montessori Field Day is scheduled for Monday, June 16 (8:30–10 a.m.), with a rain date of June 17. That same Wednesday brings the Integrated Preschool Concert and Art Show. On Thursday, June 18, the 8th Grade Celebration runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Further out, a Grade 2 Crossover Ceremony is set for June 24.
The School Committee is also meeting remotely on Wednesday, June 17.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
Holliston Public Library will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. The library is open its regular hours the rest of the week — Monday through Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Digital borrowing through Libby, Hoopla, and Kanopy remains available around the clock.
