NORTH READING -- The town's Parks & Recreation Department and Friends of North Reading Parks & Recreation are co-sponsoring a Summer 2026 Free Concert/BBQ series beginning next week.

TOWN -- The annual concert series returns to Ipswich River Park for five consecutive Wednesdays, running June 24 through July 22, with events starting at 5 p.m. each week. The series is open to community members of all ages and raises funds to support Parks & Recreation programs. Dates are subject to weather-related cancellations or rescheduling; residents should follow the Friends of North Reading Parks & Recreation Facebook page for updates. Online program registration is available through the department's website, and residents without an account can create one to receive email notifications.
