DUNSTABLE — May 22, 2026 — Dunstable Select Board unanimously appointed Lacey McCabe to the Groton-Dunstable Regional School Committee after a town hall error omitted her seat from the May 2026 annual town election ballot. Meeting jointly with School Committee member Christina Andrioli — as required under the regional agreement — the board voted 4-0 in a roll-call vote, with Leah Basbaines, Ron Michael, David Telly, and Andrioli all voting in favor. McCabe, who had been running for a three-year term, will serve only through the 2027 annual town election under the terms of the regional agreement, and the board said it is consulting with legal counsel about whether the full term can be restored. The board also reorganized, naming Ron Michael chair, Basbaines vice chair, and newly sworn-in David Telly as member.
