Billerica Hockey Association opens 2026-27 registration and welcomes new board members following its fourth annual golf tournament.

BILLERICA -- The Billerica Hockey Association announced three items in the days leading into this week: registration is now open for the 2026-27 season, new board members have been seated, and sponsors of the organization's fourth annual golf tournament were recognized. All three announcements were posted June 10.

YOUTH LEAGUES

**Hockey:** The Billerica Hockey Association, a nonprofit serving players 18 and under through development programs and travel teams, posted its 2026-27 registration online. The organization also welcomed new board members elected this month and thanked sponsors of its fourth annual golf fundraiser.

**Soccer:** The Billerica Youth Soccer Association confirmed this week that Mass Youth Soccer has formally approved BYSA's petition to move from the Middlesex league to the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League, with play beginning in the fall of 2026. BYSA said it will work through the administrative conversion over the summer and provide further details later in the year. The association also reminded all players, parents, coaches, and spectators of strict new protocols from US Soccer and Mass Youth Soccer regarding unsporting behavior and referee abuse — including potential lifetime bans — with penalties tripled when a minor referee is involved.

**Little League:** The Billerica Little League Baseball website showed field-status updates logged the morning of June 15 for Marshall Middle, Away LTA, Away Districts, and Away MVL fields, suggesting active scheduling activity, though no specific game results or announcements were posted for the week.

No high school games were reported for the period.
