Beebe Library Opens Summer Season With Tiny Art Kits and Nostalgia Night
Lucius Beebe Memorial Library opened its summer activity calendar Monday with the debut of its Tiny Art: Wildflowers program, while a fresh Wakefield Patch guide rounded up Independence Day options for residents planning their Fourth of July.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
Summer is in full swing at the Beebe Library. Starting today, June 15, residents can pick up a Tiny Art: Wildflowers kit — a small package of basic materials and step-by-step tutorials to complete a wildflower-themed miniature artwork at home over the coming weeks. The self-paced format gives adults and teens a low-pressure creative project for the season.
The library's weekly lineup continues Tuesday, June 16, with Coloring & Craft Nostalgia Night at 6:30 p.m., a drop-in program designed for anyone who wants to revisit the uncomplicated pleasure of coloring and crafting. Drop-in Tech Help returns Wednesday, June 17, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Lecture Hall, offering 15-minute one-on-one appointments for residents with questions about devices or software. The library's broader summer programming — including Plaza Jazz on the library plaza and Summer Reading for kids and teens — is also underway for the season.
