Weston Conservation Commission Approves Storyteller Farm License, Orders Robin Road Restoration
WESTON — April 28, 2026 — Weston Conservation Commission unanimously approved a two-year farm license and closed a wetland enforcement case at its April 28 meeting. The commission voted 6-0 to issue an agricultural license to Storyteller Farm LLC — farmers Alexis Yioulos and Meghan Powers — for 1.3 acres of conservation land at the Paine and Burnes Field off Chestnut Street, expiring December 31, 2027, structured identically to existing licenses held by Land's Sake Farm and Wellington Farm. In a separate 6-0 vote, the commission closed the Notice of Intent hearing for 12 Robin Road and issued an Order of Conditions requiring the property owner, Kevin Zhao, to lower an unpermitted retaining wall to a maximum of four feet, remove buffer-zone lawn, and install native restoration plantings across roughly 2,400 square feet of disturbed area. Chair Rees Tulloss said the commission consulted Town Counsel but declined to levy fines, calling the outcome "a warning" and noting that penalties could be pursued in future enforcement cases. A continued hearing for 23 Wellesley Street was pushed to May 12.
