Three Ashby Boards Meet Tuesday as Fiscal Year Nears Its End

With the fiscal year drawing to a close, Ashby has a full slate of public meetings on Tuesday, June 24, including sessions of the Board of Assessors, the Library Trustees, and the Planning Board — giving residents three separate opportunities to engage with local government in a single evening.

TOWN HALL

Three boards convene Tuesday evening. The Board of Assessors meets in person at 5 p.m. in the Assessors' Office. The Planning Board holds a virtual session at 7 p.m.; residents can join via Zoom using Meeting ID 876 0964 1256, password 983732. Both agendas are posted on the town website at ci.ashby.ma.us.

Separately, the town is still accepting applications for a part-time seasonal Cemetery Worker to help with maintenance at Ashby's three town cemeteries. Interested residents should submit their name, contact information, and any relevant experience to Barbara Thorpe at tabos@ashbyma.gov or by calling 978-386-2424, ext. 123.

Transfer Station permits for the new permit year are also still available for purchase — but the deadline is July 1. Permits cost $50 per year and can be purchased online or in person.
