Sudbury capital committee approves annual report, sets Wednesday meeting time

SUDBURY — January 29, 2026 — Sudbury Capital Improvement Advisory Committee approves annual report, sets standing Wednesday meeting night. The committee voted 6-0 on Jan. 29 to approve its annual report as amended ahead of a Feb. 20 deadline, incorporating edits from member Thomas S. Travers and two roofing updates from the fall Town Meeting. Chair Matthew Dallas, Vice-Chair Peter Iovanella, Susan Asbedian-Ciaffi and Travers all signaled they may not seek reappointment, raising the prospect of three departures within two years on top of an existing vacancy. Members adopted Wednesdays at 6 p.m. as a standing meeting time after ruling out Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for conflicts with the Select Board, Finance Committee and School Committee. Dallas said the joint capital review with the Select Board and Finance Committee appears scheduled for Feb. 23, and that last Town Meeting's pulled Article 24 — which would have required two-year submissions for projects over $500,000 — remains unresolved.
