Sherborn ZBA, Business Roundtable Headline a Busy Week of Town Meetings
With no breaking announcements from Town Hall overnight, the day's news centers on a stretch of upcoming civic meetings and the library's summer programming season now underway.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The Sherborn Public Library's summer reading program, "Plant a Seed, Read," is running through August 31 and is open to participants of all ages. The library's next ticketed evening event is set for Tuesday, June 24, at 6:30 p.m. — check the library's calendar at sherbornlibrary.org for program details and registration. A second afternoon program is scheduled for July 23 at 2:00 p.m.
The library also continues to seek two part-time Student Library Aides for its newly renovated and expanded building, which reopened in 2023. Interested applicants can find details on the library's news page.
COMING UP
Several civic meetings land in the next seven days. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets Wednesday, June 24. The Energy and Sustainability Committee convenes Thursday, June 25. On Tuesday, June 30, both the Public Safety Committee and a Sherborn Business Community Roundtable Discussion are on the calendar — the roundtable is a notable opportunity for local business owners to engage directly with town officials. Full agendas and times are posted at sherbornma.org.
