Planning Board approves Tower Road shed, advances Nature Link toward February hearing

LINCOLN — January 13, 2026 — Lincoln Planning Board approves Tower Road shed and previews 20-home Nature Link development. The board unanimously approved homeowner Robert Neidlinger's 10-by-20-foot storage shed at 161 Tower Road with a screening condition for abutters Michael McEachern and Bernadette Yao of 155 Tower Road, and approved a 326.9-square-foot deck expansion at 59 Conant Road as a minor change. Andrew Consigli of CIVICO Development walked the board through refined Nature Link plans, including 17 smaller homes around 1,650 to 1,950 square feet, three 4,300-square-foot larger homes and three affordable units at 80 percent area median income. Co-Chair Lynn DeLisi pressed for Route 2 sound mitigation: "Who wants to sit outside when you're hearing these roars." Abutter John Li of 96 Page Road urged a second Route 2 exit, which CIVICO said Farrington has declined to allow. Town Planner Paula Vaughn-McKenzie said peer review of the traffic study and engineering will follow the February submission, and confirmed a Feb. 10 public hearing on deleting Section 12.2, the outdated Wetland and Watershed Protection District. Complete Streets work at Route 117 and Sudbury Road closed at $310,000.
