Natick sets June 20 Juneteenth celebration on the Common
NATICK — Town Hall on Tuesday rolled out details for a Juneteenth celebration on the Common, previewed a Wednesday Select Board meeting that will include an update on the Main Street Improvements project, and asked residents to weigh in on what the town should poll them about next.
TOWN HALL
The Select Board meets Wednesday, June 10, with an agenda that includes a status update on the Main Street Improvements project, according to a notice posted to the town's News Flash. Residents can review the full agenda through the town website.
Natick will host a Juneteenth celebration on the Natick Common from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 20, overlapping with the Natick Farmers Market. The town says the program will feature speeches, food vendors, activities and musical performances.
Town staff is also soliciting ideas for future FlashVote surveys. Officials say the five-question polling tool has been in use for more than a year on topics ranging from major town projects to the color of the Town Common gazebo, and they want residents to suggest what to ask next.
