Middlesex Sheriff's Office Brings Scam-Prevention Talk to Billerica Library Tonight

The Billerica Public Library is the center of community activity today, hosting a free scam-awareness presentation this evening and reminding residents the building will be dark this Friday for Juneteenth.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Middlesex Sheriff's Office brings its Scam Awareness and Prevention Presentation to the Billerica Public Library tonight, Tuesday, June 16, at 7 p.m. The program is free and open to the public; registration is available at billericalibrary.org. The session is a practical resource for residents looking to protect themselves and their families from increasingly common fraud schemes.

Patrons should also note that the library will be closed this Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth Independence Day. Regular hours resume Monday, June 22.

On the lighter side, the library's Paperback Beach Pick BOGO Sale runs through June 30 — a good reason to stop in before the holiday weekend. The Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library also has tote bags available for $10 each while supplies last; ask at the Circulation Desk.
