Lincoln Select Board votes 3-0 to enter executive session on personnel complaint

LINCOLN — April 17, 2026 — Lincoln Select Board enters executive session on personnel complaint after minutes-long open meeting. The three-member board voted 3-0 Friday morning to move into closed session under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 21(a), Exemption 1, which permits private discussion of complaints or charges against a public employee. Chair Jim Hutchinson, Member Kim Bodnar and Member Jennifer Glass each voted aye on a roll call taken without discussion. Town Administrator Tim Higgins took minutes in the absence of the board's regular recording secretary. "I think at this point, we're going to stop the recording," Hutchinson said before the board went into closed session. The agenda disclosed no further detail about the employee or the complaint, and executive-session minutes are not released while the reason for confidentiality remains in effect.
