Lincoln School Committee approves three-year LEA contract through 2029

LINCOLN — June 4, 2026 — Lincoln School Committee ratifies LEA contract and adopts Rising Star honoree's lunch-price fix. The committee unanimously approved a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Lincoln Educators Association through Aug. 31, 2029, hours after the union ratified the same tentative deal, and authorized Chairperson Matina Madrick to sign. Members also voted to raise the adult school lunch price from $5 to $5.50 plus tax after a DESE review found the current price did not cover costs, and unanimously approved a RetirementPlus resolution directed to Sen. Mike Barrett and Gov. Maura Healey. MASBO Executive Director Margaret Driscoll presented Administrator for Business and Finance Angela Wang with the 2026 Rising Star award, citing her budgeting redesign and her role in renewing the DoDEA contract for Hanscom. Superintendent Dr. Perry Graham acknowledged the district's 40th-percentile school engagement scores in grades six through eight on new Panorama benchmark data, saying "I'm not confident yet" about the cause.
