Hopkinton Schools Set June 24 as Last Day With Early Dismissal
The school year is nearly done for Hopkinton students, with Tuesday, June 24, set as the last day across all district buildings — a milestone that also coincides with the library's end-of-school celebration and a packed afternoon of community programming.

Tuesday, June 24, is the last day of school for Hopkinton Public Schools students. Early dismissal times vary by building: the middle school and high school dismiss at 11:20 a.m., while elementary schools dismiss at 12:20 p.m. with no lunch served. Report cards will also be distributed that day. The June 24 date reflects the use of a third snow day in the district's calendar.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The Hopkinton Public Library is marking the end of the school year with a Last Day of School Arcade on Tuesday, June 24, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Betty Strong Room — timed to welcome students right after early dismissal. The same afternoon brings two additional programs: the Genealogist Is IN drop-in session from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Ellsworth Conference Room, and Read to a Therapy Dog from 7 to 7:45 p.m. in the Children's Department. Earlier that morning, Music and Movement runs from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. in the Betty Strong Room.
A note for library visitors: the Main Street entrance ramp remains closed for accessibility upgrades; patrons needing ramp access should use the Church Street entrance. Study rooms will also be closed Wednesday, June 25, due to well maintenance.
The library's June Guest Librarians feature Ian Richardson, Administrative Assistant for the Town Clerk's office and Human Resources, and his fiancé Ashleigh, who have curated a list of horror recommendations available on the library's website.
