Holliston Releases Climate Action Plan, Paving Schedule, and Water Quality Report
The town released three substantive public documents in the past 48 hours — a new Climate Action Plan, the 2025 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report, and a summer street-paving schedule — making this one of the more information-dense mid-week cycles of the year.
TOWN HALL
Holliston published its Climate Action Plan on June 22, making the document publicly available on the town website. The plan marks a formal commitment by the town to address climate-related goals at the municipal level; residents can read the full document at the town's News Flash page (https://www.townofholliston.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=73).
Also posted June 22, the 2025 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report is now available for residents to review. The report is a routine annual disclosure that gives households a look at the town's water supply conditions over the prior year (https://www.townofholliston.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=74).
On the infrastructure front, the town announced June 23 that summertime street paving projects will begin June 29. Residents living near affected streets should expect lane restrictions and construction activity starting next Monday (https://www.townofholliston.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=75).
SCHOOLS
The Holliston Public Schools district is seeking community feedback on the finalist for Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations, according to the district's news page. Separately, the district's summer newsletter, posted in Superintendent Dr. Susan Kustka's Corner, is available for families. A Grade 2 Crossover Ceremony is scheduled for June 24 at Placentino Elementary, running from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
