Conservation Commission Approves Nashville Road Garage, Continues Other Hearings

PEPPERELL — February 17, 2026 — Pepperell Conservation Commission clears one garage project and postpones all other hearings to March 17. The commission approved a negative determination for applicant John Morin's proposed three-car garage with a 900-square-foot accessory dwelling unit at 72 Nashville Road, finding the project within the buffer zone but not requiring a Notice of Intent under Determinations 3 and 6. Chair Elliott pressed Morin to increase the erosion-control limit of work from 30 feet to 40 feet before the board agreed unanimously. All other public hearings scheduled for the evening were continued to the March 17 meeting, with at least one application — a property on Cranberry — held up because snow cover exceeded two feet and wetland flagging could not be completed. The commission also approved $180 in bills payable for a staff conference and voted to accept January meeting minutes.
