Billerica Public Library Kicks Off All-Ages Summer Reading Challenge

The Billerica Public Library launched its Summer Reading Challenge for all ages Monday, June 22, giving residents of every generation a reason to visit 15 Concord Road through the coming weeks.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The library's Summer Reading Challenge — open to children, teens, and adults — got underway Monday and runs through the summer. Programs and registration details are available on the library's website and through its catalog portal. Separate tracks are offered for children, teens, and adults, so the whole household can participate at once.

Also on the library's calendar: a "Best Small Museums in Massachusetts" program is scheduled for Thursday, June 26, at 7 p.m. Registration is open on the library's events page. The evening program is a natural complement to summer travel planning for families and history buffs alike.

Through June 30, the Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library is running a Paperback Beach Pick BOGO sale, and Friends-branded tote bags are available for $10 each at the Circulation Desk while supplies last — both efforts support library programs and museum pass offerings.
