Billerica Library Closes Friday for Juneteenth, Reopens With Summer Reading
The Billerica Public Library is closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth Independence Day, with Summer Reading for All Ages kicking off the following Monday, June 22 — giving residents a full programming slate to look forward to when doors reopen.

The library at 15 Concord Road will be dark Friday for the Juneteenth federal holiday and will return to regular hours Monday morning at 9 a.m. The closure applies to all services, including curbside pickup.
Summer Reading for All Ages launches Monday, June 22. The library is running separate tracks for children, teens, and adults, and registration information is available on the library website at billericalibrary.org.
Looking ahead to the end of the month, the library is hosting "Best Small Museums in Massachusetts," a program scheduled for Thursday, June 26, at 7 p.m. Registration is required; sign up through the library's events calendar. Through the end of June, the Friends of the Library are also running a Paperback Beach Pick buy-one-get-one sale — and Family Friends tote bags are available for $10 each at the Circulation Desk while supplies last.
