Bedford Library Summer Reading Challenge Open Through July 31
The Bedford Free Public Library's 2026 summer reading challenge is the dominant community note this Tuesday, with residents of all ages able to log reading minutes through July 31 for a chance to earn prizes — even as town hall and school sources produced no new announcements overnight.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The library's HEB Reads! Summer Reading Challenge is open now through July 31 for adults, teens, and kids. Participants can register through the Beanstack app or online and log reading minutes to earn prizes; prize pick-up is already available, having started June 1. The program launched May 16 and continues through the end of July.
Residents looking for summer programming can also browse the library's separate newsletters for adults, kids, and tweens/teens covering the full summer 2026 calendar. Note that the library will be closed Friday and Saturday, July 3–4, in observance of Independence Day.
